Setting Up TikTok Pixel Integration
To set up TikTok integration, start by creating a TikTok Ads Manager account. Once registered, log in to your Ads Manager account. At the top of the page, you’ll find several menus. Hover over the “Tools” menu to reveal its associated sub-menus. Within the “Management” menu, locate the “Event” sub-menu.

When you click on the “Event” menu, you’ll be directed to a page with three options:
- App Events: Use this option if you want to track pixels from a mobile application. You’ll need to create App Events for this purpose.
- Web Events: Choose this option if you want to track pixels from a website, such as the one we’ll create for the Ticket Search application here.
- Offline: This option tracks offline conversions from your ad campaigns.

Below, you’ll select “Web Events,” then click on the ‘Manage’ button for Web Events. This action will direct you to the Web Event page, where you can set up your pixel.

When you click on ‘Setup Web Event’, a ‘Create Pixel’ popup will appear as shown below. Here, choose ‘Manual setup’ and press ‘Next’.

After pressing ‘Next’, you’ll encounter the next popup window. Here, you’ll provide the name for your Pixel and then press ‘Next’.

After pressing ‘Next’, you’ll arrive at the next screen where you can set up your Pixel Events. Here, you’ll find all the TikTok standard events listed for you to configure.

In Ticket Search, all the custom events have already been created and can be selected from the Ticket Search backend under Marketing -> TikTok Integration page.

For sales data, Ticket Search allows you to select the “Payment Successful” event to track sale data along with custom events.
You can choose both standard and custom events from the event list and add them in the Consideration and Conversion tabs. Once selected, press ‘Next’.

Once you press ‘Next’, you’ll see the next screen where you’ll encounter three options: Event API, Custom Code, and Event Builder. Choose ‘Custom Event’ here and press ‘Next’.
After pressing ‘Next’, you’ll arrive at the next screen where you’ll set up all event parameters. Please select all the parameters you’ve chosen and press ‘Next’. Ticket Search sends all selected parameters in the TikTok pixel.
Below is the data format being sent by the Ticket Search Portal:
ttq.track(‘Payment Successful’,{contents: [{‘content_id’:’2072091′,’content_type’:’product’,’content_name’:’All Fee Event ‘,’quantity’:1,’price’:103}],value: 108.15,currency: ‘AUD’})

After pressing ‘Next’, you’ll be directed to the following screen. Press ‘Finish’ to complete your setup.

Once you’ve set up your pixel, you’ll land on the pixel dashboard screen. Here, at the top right corner, you can find the Pixel ID, which you’ll need to set up in Ticket Search.

When logged into Ticket Search, navigate to the Marketing menu and select the TikTok Integration option. Here, you can set up your pixel.
Add your Pixel ID here and choose all preferred events that you want to track.
