This comprehensive guide is designed to walk you through the seamless process of setting up the SecurePay REST API for both new Gateway customers and existing SecurePay users. By following the steps outlined below, you’ll be on your way to integrating the SecurePay API into your platform for a secure and efficient payment solution.
New Gateway Customers:
Step 1
- Click on this link and click on “sign up” to gain access to our Launch Pad.
- Please enter some basic details to create your account.
- If when completed you are prompted that you already have an account, use the “Forgot My Password” function to retrieve your account.
- You will be sent an email activation link within 2 minutes. Once you have verified your account via email, your dashboard will automatically open.
- If prompted for Business account details, please select option “I don’t have a business Credit Account”.
- When asked about your preferred integration, please select “Customised Solution” and then “SecurePay API”
Step 2
- Once complete, under “Apply for a SecurePay Gateway account” please click on the “Activate Now” button
- Click “Let’s Start” to complete the final part of the application.
- Fill in the “Business Details” section, including your ABN, Business Information and Website Information.
- Fill in the “Personal Details” section to include the details of an owner, director or a designated signatory of the business.
- Fill in details of the online merchant facility provided by your preferred banking institution.
- Please review your application details and confirm your application at the bottom of the page.
- Feel free to take note of the application reference for your records
Activating REST API for Existing SecurePay Customers
- Sign up to SecurePay My Post Business account click here
- An email from Australia Post will be sent to activate the account
- Click the “Activate now” button within the email which will log you into the SecurePay Dashboard
- You can log out at this point
- Email the support team using the below email template.
- Please ensure you have access to the SecurePay Dashboard refer to Trouble Shooting section if you are unable to
- The Support team will email you to confirm that your existing SecurePay account has been linked
- Log into the SecurePay My Post Business Dashboard click here
- Locate the Live credentials within “Start trading” section (scroll to the bottom of the page)
- Enter (copy and paste) the Live credentials into the Ticket Search (finance setup) platform

- Click “Let’s Start” to complete the final part of the application.
- Fill in the “Business Details” section, including your ABN, Business Information and Website Information.
- Fill in the “Personal Details” section to include the details of an owner, director or a designated signatory of the business.
- Under “Online Transactions”, please enter your estimate regarding your average credit card transaction value and transaction volume.
- Fill in the “Business banking details” section and please ensure to enter the details of the bank account that you wish to be paid into.
- Upload a business bank statement. Please ensure that it is no older than 3 months old and that the name of the account matches the name/s registered to the ABN you have provided.
- Please review your application details and confirm your application at the bottom of the page.
- Feel free to take note of the application reference for your records
