3.Optimized Stripe Pay Process & Improved Email/SMS Delivery
We’ve optimized the Stripe Pay process to make transactions faster and smoother for your customers. In addition, sending of emails and SMS notifications, including Confirmation, Donation, Membership, PWYF Confirmation Emails, and Confirmation SMS, has been moved out of the payment process. This change ensures that payment completion is quicker while notifications continue to be sent reliably.
4. Stripe Pay – Refunds for Orders Paid with Exchange Credit
Previously, when a customer purchased a ticket via Stripe and then exchanged it for another ticket of the same or lesser value using Exchange Credit, refunds for the exchanged order were not processed correctly.
With this update:
- Full-value exchange: If the original order was $100 and the customer exchanged it for another $100 ticket using Exchange Credit, refunds for the exchanged order can now be completed. The refunded amount will be returned to the card used in the original purchase.
- Partial-value exchange: If the original order was $100 and the customer exchanged it for a $40 ticket, with $60 already refunded, any refund for the exchanged order can still be processed to the original card.
5. Enhanced Debit/Credit Card Option on Checkout (Stripe Pay)
The debit/credit card option on the checkout page has been enhanced. It will now automatically be removed from the checkout page when all other payment methods (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) are made inactive from your finance setup. (This is useful when there is only one MOP which is Stripe).

6. Stored Card Details Now Visible for Link Payments
Previously, when making a payment using a link with stored card functionality, the Stripe portal only indicated that a payment was made via a link, without showing which card was used.
With this update, the Stripe portal now displays the type of card and the ending digits, providing greater clarity and easier tracking for payments made via links.

7. Profile Scanning Restriction Updates
Previously, events that were currently in the scanning period were displayed, preventing operators from setting up users in advance.
With this update:
- Only events with future dates and the specified statuses will now be displayed, allowing operators to prepare user profiles ahead of time.
- If a user has been assigned to an event/session and the event date has passed, it will still appear in the operator’s profile dropdown unless it is manually removed.

8. Ticket Type Dependency Message Enhancement
For events with ticket type dependencies (e.g., purchasing a Child ticket requires selecting an Adult or Concession ticket), an error message is shown to guide users to choose the appropriate ticket type.
We’ve improved this message to address scenarios where qualifying ticket types are hidden due to promo codes, tags, memberships, or other restrictions. The updated message now clearly advises: if they don’t see the required ticket type, it may be restricted by promotions, memberships, tags, or not yet on sale.

9. Dynamic Browser Title Enhancement Across All Modules
The browser tab title now updates dynamically based on user activity. It will display the default (e.g., TicketSearch Online or the client’s custom title) on the main page. When selecting a module such as ABC Event or New Donation, the browser title updates accordingly. Once an item is added to the cart and the user continues shopping or proceeds to checkout, the title reverts to the default or customised name. This now applies consistently across all modules.

10. Removal of Accessibility Requirement Toggle for Wheelchair Holds
Previously, when purchasing accessible (wheelchair) seats, a “Yes/No” toggle was available to indicate accessibility requirements. This toggle has now been removed from both the online platform and the backend, simplifying the booking process for accessible seating.

We’ve updated the inventory alert message to more clearly describe the scenario, helping users better understand when and when the alert is triggered.

We’ve resolved an issue where hyperlinks in highlighted information (In Step One of Subscription and Packages Build) were not functioning on the sales page “Click here” was appearing as plain text instead of a clickable link. Links now work as expected

15. Apple/Google Wallet Button Now Included When Resending E-Tix
Previously, the Apple/Google Wallet button was missing from confirmation emails when tickets were sent via Email, Print, Box Office Collection, or Mail, it was only available when using the Reprint option from a customer profile.
We’ve now enhanced this behaviour so that the Wallet button is correctly displayed whenever e-tickets are resent, regardless of the selected delivery method.
