Release 79

Enhancements:

1. Opt-in Marketing Name Length Increase:

We’ve expanded the opt-in marketing name to 150 characters, now applicable at both the organizational and event levels.

2. Report Optimization: “Customer Evaluation” & “Primary Marketing” Reports:

We’ve enhanced the speed of the “Customer Evaluation” & “Primary Marketing” Reports, ensuring smoother functionality.

3. Waitlist Report Enhancement:

Initially, the Waitlist Report only displayed the first 4 preferences provided by a customer until exporting the report. To address this limitation, we’ve made adjustments to showcase all preferences directly within the report.

Furthermore, in the Waitlist Report, the ‘Additional Question/Answers’ column previously lacked a heading if no data was present. We’ve rectified this by updating the column to consistently display the heading, even when no data is available. Additionally, the column now dynamically presents the question along with its answer, enhancing clarity and context for users. For instance, it will display inquiries such as “What are your dietary requirements?” followed by responses like “Non-dairy.”

4. Scanning Delay Text Modification:

We’ve updated the scanning delays tip to provide clearer guidance for users, ensuring a seamless scanning experience.

Tip: Please note that the scanning application operates at a high speed, and without adjusting for a brief time delay, there is a risk of double scanning as the barcode may not be moved away in time. Enter the desired time delay in seconds to ensure a smooth scanning experience.

5. Customer Evaluation Report Enhancement:

We’ve introduced the ‘Optin’ filter in the Customer Evaluation Report, enabling users to generate reports based on customer opt-in preferences. This feature can be accessed within the report under the “Modules and Other” filters section.

6. Doorlist Report Enhancement:

We have implemented the addition of the ‘Donation Type’ column in the Doorlist Report. This column will now showcase the type of donation made by a customer, including whether it was a suggested value amount, a custom amount, or part of an event add-on, subscription, or deal. It will also indicate the value and whether it was suggested, a custom amount, donor level, or round-up (based on your settings).

7. Customer Fields in Subscription Report Filters

We have incorporated additional customer fields into the subscription report filters. Users can now select the following fields for inclusion in their reports:

Show Preferred Name

Show Email

Show Mobile

Show Home Phone

Show Work Phone

Show Billing Address

Show Mailing Address

8. Inclusion of “Event Name / Event Date” in Complimentary Ticket/Item Report

We have added the option to include “Event Name / Event Date” in the Complimentary Ticket/Item Report. Users now have the flexibility to select and display this information. Additionally, they can choose to remove the event name if it’s not required for their analysis.

9. Primary Reconciliation & Transaction Reports Optimization:

Optimization efforts have been implemented for the primary reconciliation and transaction reports, resulting in increased speed and efficiency.

10. Birthdate Inclusion in Membership Report

We have enhanced the Membership report by adding a Date of Birth filter. Once a customer provides their Date of Birth (DOB), it will be displayed when selecting this filter, providing additional demographic information for analysis.

11. PWYF Columns Addition in Primary Reconciliation Report

We have expanded the Primary Reconciliation Report by adding three new columns at the end. These columns display Pay What You Feel (PWYF) information by event, including PWYF tickets (ticket quantity), PWYF Amount (PWYF ticket price), and Extra Contribution (additional contributions made by customers). This allows for detailed tracking of PWYF contributions per event.

12. Tag Note Display in Doorlist Report

When a tag has a note associated with it, such as “accessible seating” for disability, the note will now be displayed in the Doorlist Report. To view the tag description, users must select the ‘Show Tag in Doorlist Report’ filter. This information is sourced from Customers and Transactions, enhancing accessibility and information clarity in the report.

Resolved Issues:

13. Editing One-off Promo Code Issue:

We’ve addressed an issue encountered when selecting multiple events but only a single event session in the conditions of the promo code.

14.Membership Report Inactive Member Details Removal:

Inactive member details are now appropriately removed from specific tables in the Membership Report, ensuring accurate data representation.

In our database, we previously maintained separate tables for customers and members. For example, if customer A purchased a membership for both himself and a friend, and only selected himself as a customer during checkout, he would be registered in the system as both a customer and a member. However, his friend would only be registered as a member. In cases where a customer buys a membership for another person, the transaction will be assigned to them, but the membership itself will be applied to the person for whom it was purchased. Consequently, the customer’s details will not appear in the membership report; only the details of the person for whom the membership was purchased will be displayed.

15. Open Pass Event Date Issue Resolution:

We’ve resolved an issue affecting the dates when creating an open pass event using the calendar to set scanning on/off periods.

16. Scanning Link Page URL Update

We have updated the download link for the TicketSearch scanning app on the Google Play Store. Users can now access the latest version of the app by visiting the updated link provided.

Additional Tips:

17. Scheduled Email Reports Tip Addition:

A scheduling tip has been included for email reports to ensure timely delivery even during peak scheduling times.

Tip: When scheduling reports, report execution begins at the set time, i.e., if the report is scheduled for 10 am, it will commence sending at exactly 10 am, we suggest setting the scheduled time for reports an hour earlier than your intended receipt time. For example, if you expect a report at 10 am, schedule it for 9 am. This precautionary measure allows for proper execution, especially when there are multiple reports scheduled by other clients during that timeframe.

18. Membership Report Title Case Correction

We have made a minor text change to correct the title case of the ‘Include expired members’ filter in the Membership report.

19. Primary Marketing Report Tip Addition:

A tip has been added to the Primary Marketing Report to address issues with the ‘exclude’ filter columns, enhancing usability.

Tip: if you intend to export the data to excel and sort the data columns, please ensure that the default fields First Name, Last Name, Email, Mobile are selected. This will avoid merged cells being introduced that will prevent sorting.

20. Fundraising Report Tip:

We’ve added the following tip to the fundraising report: After selecting your report parameters, click ‘Save and Generate Report’. Once the report has been generated, utilize the toolbar to perform actions such as printing, exporting (PDF, Excel, CSV, etc.), refreshing the report, and more.

21. Suggestion for Report Loading Issue:

And finally, the following suggestion has been included across a range of reports: If your report doesn’t load after clicking “Save & Generate Report,” due to large date ranges, or historical data (e.g, generating a 2021 yearly report), consider using either the Email Now or Schedule function. Opting for the Schedule function may result in faster receipt, as we run multiple pipelines simultaneously. However, Email Now has fewer pipelines in operation.
