Mini Release on February 22nd

We are pleased to announce a mini release that took place overnight on February 22nd. This release includes a few updates aimed at improving functionality and user experience.

Opt-In Process Enhancement

Previously, the opt-in process sent a confirmation for every customer order, requiring them to confirm their subscription. Now, confirmations will only be sent if the customer modifies their opt-in request, whether opting in or out.

Widget Update: Coverage Information

The Refundable Bookings widget has been updated to include crucial factors regarding coverage. Not covered scenarios now include booking too many tickets, booking the wrong date, and changes of mind.

Time Delay Functionality in Scanning

A new function has been added to implement a time delay in the scanning process. This adjustment addresses reports of the scanning process being too fast, leading to double scanning. Users can now set a time delay (e.g., two seconds) between scans, preventing any scans within that timeframe. Note: This feature applies only from the second ticket scanned consecutively.

Select All Button in Mobile Scanning App

We’ve introduced a “Select All” button in the Mobile Scanning App for events. Please be aware that this feature is limited to events and does not include upsells.

Reminder: Clearing Filters in Sales Page

If you encounter issues with stuck filters on your sales page, remember to expand ‘Filter Sales Listing’ and then select ‘Clear Filters.’ This will resolve any filtering problems you may encounter.

Upcoming Report Updates

Currently, we are in the testing phase for a series of report updates, and we anticipate their release late next week. These updates are designed to enhance the reporting features and provide users with valuable insights, this is in line with custom Reporting and Dashboards which we are actively working on.

Looking ahead, we have an extensive roadmap with over 200 development items slated for this year including Incorporating report enhancements, implementing a novel membership process catering to family purchases without individual email addresses, interlinking organizations with multiple entities utilizing distinct payment gateways, providing comprehensive customization options in the backend, and establishing pre-default donation values. Stay tuned for a series of exciting updates and enhancements that will be rolled out throughout the year.
