Here are the latest updates included in Release 93, which focuses on usability improvements, cleaner interface controls, and better customization options across the platform. Read on for a detailed breakdown of what’s new and improved in this release.
Promo Code Visibility Enhanced
Previously, hiding the promo code in Online Customization only removed it from the event description page, but it still appeared in the ticket selection popup.
Now, using the setting in Platform Customization > Online Customization > Event Customization > “Hide this Option” (for ‘Do you have a Promo Code?’) will hide the promo code field in both:
- The event description page, and
- The ticket type selection popup.

The promo code box that appears when users select their ticket types will now also be hidden if this setting is enabled, ideal for events where ticket-type-specific promo codes are not in use.

Hyphenation Now Supported in User Names
Users can now enter hyphens (-) in both the First Name and Last Name fields when creating user profiles. This resolves an issue where names like “Jean-Luc” or “Smith-Jones” were previously rejected.

Expanded Event Description Editor
The event description text box now includes an expand icon, allowing users to enlarge the editor up to 1.5 times its original size. This makes it easier to view and edit long text blocks within the event description area.

New Feature: E-Invoice Request for Malaysian Organizations
Malaysian organizations can now offer customers the option to request an E-Invoice after a purchase via the Online E-Invoice page. Operators will receive these requests via email, containing all the necessary details entered by the customer.
Additional functionalities include:
- Operators can show, hide, or edit fields on the E-Invoice page via Settings > E-Invoice Settings.
- Users can submit requests as individuals or organizations.
- A new tab has been added under the Confirmation Email section to allow users to easily navigate to the E-Invoice page from their confirmation email.
Inactive Pricing Templates Hidden from Event Build
Previously, inactive pricing templates were still showing in Step 3 of the Event Build, cluttering the dropdown list. With this release, inactive pricing templates are now removed from the dropdown, streamlining the selection process.

Companion Card Error Message Improvement
If a ticket type depends on another (parent) ticket type, and that parent ticket type is unavailable or inactive for the event/session, the error message for the dependent ticket will no longer include the ticket name in the toast notification. This ensures a cleaner and less confusing error display.

Mobile View: Online Banner Image Fix
We’ve corrected an issue with banner images being cropped or distorted on mobile devices. This issue has now been resolved to ensure banner images display correctly across all screen sizes.
Operator-Level Event & Module Access for Scanning
A new feature has been added to the Operator Profile that allows administrators to control which events and modules are visible to an operator in the Scanning area.
With this feature enabled, administrators can select specific events and/or modules for each operator. Only the selected items will appear when that operator logs in to the scanning interface.
Example:
If an Admin grants an operator access only to Event A, the operator will see and be able to scan tickets for Event A only, with no visibility of other events or modules.
How to enable:
- Activate the feature from General Settings > Scanning.
- Once enabled, a third tab will appear in the Operator Profile, where event and module access can be configured per operator
