Please see below the items included in release 98. Please read the release notes carefully and if you have any questions, please contact support in your region.

1. Customizable “Inside Fee” Label in Reports

A new field has been added under Event/Product Settings → Fees & Charges → Inside Fees, allowing customization of the “Inside Fee” label used in the Promoter Access Detail and Sales Channel Ticket Type reports.

You may now rename the default “Inside Fee” to a custom value (e.g., “Booking Fee”).

  • If left blank, the system will continue to use the default label.
  • Once customized, the reports will show the updated label both in the filter (“Show Booking Fee”) and in the column header.
  • Note: There are no changes to fee calculations, only the displayed label has been updated.

The renamed Inside Fee will appear in both the Promoter Access Detail and Sales Channel Ticket Type reports, this includes the filter checkbox on the report generation page as well as the column name on the generated report.

2. StripePay Improvements – Duplicate Payment Prevention, Webhooks & Auto-Refunds

Several technical enhancements have been made to StripePay to improve overall perform and also reduce timeouts and eliminate ghost transactions. These updates apply only to StripePay (not Traditional Stripe or Stripe Terminal).

Key Improvements:

  • A unique identifier is now passed to prevent duplicate payments.
  • Webhook handling on the online API has been improved.
  • An Auto-Refund feature has been implemented for payments where the shopping cart expires before the order is created.
  • Customers will receive an email confirmation when an auto-refund occurs (if an email address is on file).

Example:
A cart created at 10:00 AM with a 10-minute expiry will expire at 10:10 AM. If the customer enters card details at 10:08 AM and completes 3-D Secure authentication at 10:18 AM, the payment would succeed but the cart would already be expired, preventing order generation. In such cases, the system now automatically refunds the payment and notifies the customer.

3. “Download Seating Map” Unavailable in Sold-Out Shows

Previously, the Download Map link did not appear for events that were fully or partially sold out, even though operators still required access.
This has now been updated so operators will always see the Download Map link for all reserved-seating events, regardless of whether the event/session is sold out.

4. SSO Login Issue

We resolved an issue where users were unable to log in a second time using SSO after logging out. When attempting to log back in, the Login button would spin indefinitely. Refreshing the page or reopening the browser temporarily resolved the issue, but this has now been permanently fixed.

5. Deal Checkout Improvement – Preventing Accidental Cart Clearing

During online deal purchases, customers previously saw a shopping cart banner after selecting seats/quantities for the first event. If they clicked Go to Checkout on that banner, their cart would be cleared and they would be redirected to the listing page.

To prevent this confusion, the shopping cart banner has now been hidden during deal purchases.
Customers will only see a single Checkout button at the bottom of the page, ensuring a direct and consistent path to the checkout page.

6. Incorrect Currency Symbol in Confirmation Emails

A fix has been applied for countries using non-dollar currencies.
When primary tax was included in the ticket price, confirmation emails incorrectly displayed the $ symbol instead of the appropriate currency symbol. This has now been corrected.
