This release includes a range of enhancements, usability improvements, and issue resolutions across the platform. Updates in this release focus on improving the online checkout experience, expanding ticket layout customisation options, enhancing Stripe Terminal functionality, resolving PWYF email scheduling issues, and improving scheduled report performance.
1. Skip Donation Option Enhancement – Button Positioning
We’ve introduced a new setting within Online Platform Customisation that allows you to reposition the “Go to Next Step” button closer to the “Donate Now” button during the checkout process.
This new option can be found under: Settings > Platform Customisation > Online Customisation > Menu Preferences

When enabled, the “Go to Next Step” button will appear on the right-hand side of the page beside the “Donate Now” button on desktop view. On mobile view, the “Go to Next Step” button will appear below the “Donate Now” button.

If the option remains unchecked, the existing layout will continue to apply, where the “Go to Next Step” button appears on the left-hand side of the page. On mobile view, the button will continue to display above the “Donate Now” button.

2. Font Size 18 Added to 300 DPI Printed Ticket Layouts
A new font size option of 18 has been added to all 300 DPI printed ticket layouts.
Available font sizes for 300 DPI layouts are now:
- 6
- 14
- 18
- 22
Please note that no changes have been made to 200 DPI printed ticket layouts, which continue to support the following font sizes:
- 10
- 22
- 28
- 34
You can customise your ticket layouts by navigating to: Events > Tools & Templates > Ticket Layouts

3. Stripe Terminal Update
We have resolved two issues relating to Stripe Terminal functionality.
A client reported that when processing walk-up sales using the Stripe Terminal, if a customer changed their mind before completing payment, the terminal would remain stuck on the “Awaiting Payment” screen. Staff were unable to cancel the transaction without restarting the terminal.
Additionally, the Cancel button on the checkout page was becoming disabled while payment processing was occurring through the Stripe Terminal.
Both issues have now been addressed and resolved in this release.
4. PWYF Email Template Issue Resolved
We have resolved an issue where PWYF (Pay What You Feel) email schedules were being deleted whenever users made changes to pre-event or post-event emails from Step 3 of the Event Build process.
PWYF email schedules will now remain intact when updating other event email settings.
5. Scheduled Report Performance Improvements
We’ve optimised scheduled reports to improve processing speed and overall performance.
Please note that priority is given to reports that are quicker to process first, while larger or more resource-intensive reports will be processed immediately afterward.
