Scanning App Updates

Below are the recently completed changes implemented in the scanning app aimed at enhancing efficiency. These updates include modifications to the ticket acceptance/rejection process, sound adjustments for successful and failed scans across both Android and IOS platforms, as well as the addition of clear indicators for successful and rejected scans in toast messages. Additionally, measures have been taken to prevent multiple scans of tickets within a short timeframe by introducing a scanning delay option. Furthermore, a convenient “Select All” button has been integrated to streamline the scanning process for multiple events simultaneously.

  1. Accepting (Green) and Rejecting (Red) a scan of the ticket now triggers a new toast in the Android Application.

2. The sound for ticket scan ACCEPTED (Success) and REJECTED (Failure) has been modified in both the Android and IOS applications.

3. ACCEPTED and REJECTED text have been added to the toast message when a ticket is scanned successfully or rejected, for both the Android and IOS applications.

Previously Released Changes

  1. Scanning Delay now implements an extensive delay between two consecutive scans to prevent scanning tickets multiple times within a short timeframe. You can find this setting under Organization > General Setting > Scanning.

2. A “Select All” Button has been added to allow selecting all events for scanning simultaneously.
