Pixel tracking is a HTML code snippet which is loaded when a user visits a website or opens an email. It is useful for tracking user behaviour and conversions. We’ve provided 2 integrations, Facebook Pixel Tracking (advertisements created through Facebook) and Google Adwords Pixel Tracking (advertisements created through Google).
Tip: Please remember to turn on the ability to alert this setting per event/activity (at the bottom of the page) if you are working with 3rd party organisations such as promoters who have their own pixel tracking id’s based on their own advertising. By turning this on, you’ll be able to add the varied pixel tracking id’s at an individual event/activity level.
Facebook Pixel Tracking- Facebook allows you to create advertisements and then by entering your Pixel ID, you can choose where you want the system to track your conversions and drop-offs. This is useful to understand and track where customers are clicking through and during what stage they may drop off from purchasing. This will give you the understanding of whether your advertisement has been successful. The Step: Confirmation – (Page Load – Payment Successful) is the key finalise order step that would trigger full success. Your statistics are available through Facebook.
