Set type of Deal/Discount:
Discount Value
Here you can enter the value of the discount in the box below. This can either be as a percentage or currency value. In addition to the discount value, you also have the option of waiving any fees if desired. For example, you can set up a 15% discount which will correlate with the conditions of eligibility you have set up in Step 1.
Waive Fees
Which fees would you like to waive?
Here you can add any fee waivers you wish to attach to your Deal/Discount; you can select as many or as little fee waivers as you like. If you don’t wish to add a fee waiver to your Deal/Discount you can simply not select anything.
Delivery Fee: Selecting this will waive the ‘Delivery fee’ e.g. for items that get mailed out.
Transaction Fee: Selecting this will waive the ‘Transaction Fee’ e.g. fees on each transaction.
Ticket Fee: Selecting this will waive the ‘Ticket Fee’ e.g. per ticket/item fee.
Payment Fee: Selecting this will waive the ‘Payment Fee’ e.g. credit card surcharge.
Quantity Range Discount
Here you can set up your Deal/Discount to apply as a quantity range. This is helpful in situations when you want to set up a Deal/Discount that offers 3 workshops at 15% off, 5 workshops at 20% off and 7 workshops at 25% etc. You could also set these up as a range (between 1-3 at 15% off, 4-5 at 20% off and 6-7 at 25% off). This could be an alternative to setting up a subscription package, which requires a number of additional steps to complete.
You simply choose the quantity ‘From’ and ‘To’, enter the discount as a currency value or percentage and add it to the table below. Add as many quantity ranges as necessary for this Deal/Discount, remembering that these quantity range discounts are offered when the customer meets the criteria set up in Step 1 as well as the criteria entered here. You may also waive fees using this function.
Apply this discount to Events only?
By selecting ‘YES’, the discounts entered into the table above will apply to events tickets only and not if the customer meets the eligibility for other modules (merch, memberships etc.) that may have been set up in Step 1. By selecting ‘NO’, the discounts outlined above will apply to all tickets/items that the customer meets the eligibility requirements for set up in Step 1.
Sales Value Range Discount
Here you can set up your Deal/Discount to apply as a sales value range. An example of this could be ‘spend between $50-100 and get 10% off’ and ‘spend between $150-200 and get 15% off’.
You simply choose the sales value ‘From’ and ‘To’, enter the discount as a currency value or percentage and add it to the table below. Add as many sales value ranges as necessary for this Deal/Discount, remembering that these sales value range discounts are offered when the customer meets the criteria set up in Step 1 as well as the criteria entered here. You may also waive fees using this function.
Apply this discount to Events only?

Event Tickets/Product Items
Here you can set up free tickets/items for events, merchandise/products and memberships. These will be offered to customers if they meet the criteria set in Step 1. With this option you choose which module you will offering the Deal/Discount for, then narrow down the Event/Session/Ticket Type or Product/Membership type you want to target. Similar to Step 1, you have the option to limit or customise the quantity available to each customer purchasing the Deal/Discount. You will also enter the discount amount as a percentage or currency value then click the button to add it to the table below it. Finally, you can limit the maximum quantity sold overall (applying to all tickets/items in the table), as well as enter a minimum and maximum quantity permitted per transaction (also applying to all tickets/items in the table).
You can add multiple discounted items into the table if, say, you wanted to offer the discount for an event and also for products associated with it. Remember, these discounted tickets/items are offered when the customer meets the criteria set up in Step 1.
